How is Still Waters Family Camp Funded?

Our exercise is, and always has been that we want to provide an opportunity for Christian families, gathered to the precious name of the Lord Jesus to come together and be encouraged, regardless of financial status.  We firmly believe that the Lord will provide the necessary resources as He sees fit.  As a result, we do not solicit funds from anyone and do not want any of our brethren to make a decision to attend based on their ability to help with the expenses.  If you are considering joining us, please make that decision based on what the Lord directs you to do.

To keep the expenses of the camp as low as possible, we ask that all in attendance help with the preparation of the meals, cleanup and other labor associated with running the camp.

Many have asked us about the funding for the expenses of the camp in the past.  The following is provided only to answer that question and is not to be construed as a request or requirement.  Over the years, we have received fellowship from many of our dear brethren, for which we are very thankful to our brethren and to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  We have proved his faithfulness in this area as well as all other areas of our lives repeatedly.  Our expenses for the camp, based on past experience, total approximately $22/person per day.  We pay approximately $13/person for lodging (camp fees) and approximately $3/person/meal.

Please pray with us that we would be directed by the Lord and that we would rely on him for all aspects of the camp.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.  James 1:17

But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.  Matthew 6:33
